WAASPS Open Days/events:

Every weekend, the airfield is open to the public. Come along and see the aircraft, flying operations, talk to pilots, and find out more about Ultralight aviation in general. We do suggest that you call first to make sure that poor weather has not stopped operations and to book your air experience flight!

The 2nd Sunday of every month Family BBQ day. Come along and join in the fun and games as we celebrate families and flying - two of the best things in the world! Catered BBQ available with food and prices to suit all tastes.

13-14 October 2007 GGAA Air Show with stands, lectures and aerial displays, a family event. No unaccompanied children will be admitted.

August/September 2008 - Euopean Rally. A fund raising flight from Ghana to the UK and back, flying through many different countries and demonstrating the strength of Built in Ghana aircraft and West African pilots as we go! More details available early 2008.

We are planning a very busy calendar for 2007/8 at ou 44 Hecatre one-of-a-kind facility providing flight training, maintenance, a soon to be opened air museum and a number of aviation events for Ghana and West Africa! Check back soon for our schedule!!
