Why Superior?

When it came to choosing an engine for the CH801 we spent a long time looking at the offerings.  Needing around 170Hp and low compression (to handle available fuel in West Africa) we found it a tough selection process.  Superior shone out amongst the suppliers, the 'Lycoming O360 bolt-over' and similarities were excellent, as was the ability to select low compression (derating the 180 to 170Hp), magnetos, starter, roller tappets and great support from the factory.  Clients may travel to Dallas to participate in the building of their own engine, which is an event worth doing if you really want to understand this machine!
