Special Vehicles Division
Due to the lack of suitable ERV (Emergency Response Vehicle) solutions for rural conditions - such as those found on airfields and the surrounding areas - WAASPS SVD (Special Vehicles Division) is being established. Using the same techniques of 'light and strong' the ERV from WAASPS includes off-road capablities and equipment for first attender operations including, stretcher, paramedic box, firefighting equipment. Based on the robust, easy to maintain and 'bush ready' standards that make our aircraft so popular, SVD are ready to work with prospective clients towards meeting specific needs in the sub-region.
Maintenance
'Our well equipped workshops carry a wide range of spares and is able to produce many parts from stocks of 4130 and T6 sheet and tube materials for the CH range of aircraft.
Surveillance and surveys
Whether it is an agricultural survey or a coastal/border patrol our CH701 surveillance machine can stay aloft for over 10hours. Burning less than 15litres per hour on economy cruise, the quiet Rotax 912UL engine ensures discrete operations for civilian and military requirements. Air-to-ground video option and much more can be fitted to all of our aircraft.
Photo-video missions
All of our aircraft operate happily with doors off making the ideal platform for photographic and video missions. Low and slow and amongst the quietest aircraft in their category. Take a look at some of the views from the air!
Air-ambulance and mission aviation
THe CH801 can be equipped with a range of equipment including a stretcher option to carry injured or otherwise incapacitated passengers in this amazing STOL machine. Originally designed around the needs of missionaries in South America the CH801 adapts well to mission aviation in West Africa.
Multi-role aircraft
We are currently working on a multi-role aircraft capable of air-drops of up to 6 bags of rice or equivalent in tents and other supplies as well as public health aerial dispersal against malaria, river blindness, etc - and of course still able to convert to an air-ambulance in the shortest of times. Soon to offered with a JETA1/Diesel fuel engine ideal for the West African environment. with a predicted range of 1,500km, cruising at 100kts and needing less than 200m of runway for take off and landing this machine holds a great deal of potential for West Africa and meeting the growing needs.
